Small Group Training with EMS – Studio is now Open 

We are super excited to announce that we’re starting EMS small group training classes in a matter of weeks. Please subscribe to our newsletter to get updates. 

We covered the benefits of what a WB-EMS small group training class offers in a previous blog you can read here. 

We have a description of the different types of classes we’re going to launch but here’s a little more insider information. 

Every class (except Recovery) will have a big strength component – it is, after all where EMS fitness shines! There are still some differences, however. 

  • Our Strength class will focus on technique and slow movements with a higher focus on improving balance
  • Our Metcon class is more akin to a HIIT class, still with a focus on a full body strength workout but expect your heart rate to increase
  • Our Torch class is where the time under stimulation will be longer and will resemble a circuit training class with a higher heart rate throughout. 

All three of these classes should be separated by one day of rest or a less muscle-centric workout such as yoga, swimming, hiking, running, or any other moderate to light activity. 

Finally, we have our Recovery class which uses a different type of frequency to promote blood flow, remove lactic acid, perform light lymphatic drainage, and help minimize muscle pain and ache. The Recovery class will feature optional mobility movements to help articulations and joints. Recovery can be taken every day, so if you’re able to book yourself into a Strength/Metcon/Torch class and a Recovery class right after, you’re in for a treat!
